Presentation of the project

"Lost Objects" analyses the disappearance and death of Mikel Zabalza in 1985 and the use of torture in Spanish police stations during democracy. The main characters are Mikel Zabalza's family, direct witnesses of the events; people who have suffered torture, as well as Basque and international experts in the matter who work in the investigation and prevention of these events. All these people will help us to understand the machinery that has made torture not only survive but also flourish so much in Western democracies in the XX century.
